GSL Education are currently recruiting for a dedicated and proactive Behaviour Support worker to join a supportive and inclusive school environment. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about helping students overcome behavioural challenges and achieve their full potential, both academically and personally.
Key Responsibilities of Behaviour Support:
* Provide 1:1 and group support to students with behavioural and emotional needs.
* Implement behaviour management strategies to encourage positive learning environments.
* Support students in developing social skills, emotional resilience, and self-regulation.
* Work closely with teachers and SENCOs to deliver tailored support plans.
* De-escalate challenging situations calmly and effectively.
* Foster a safe, nurturing, and inclusive school environment.
Requirements for Behaviour Support:
* Previous experience working with children or young people with behavioural needs.
* A calm, patient, and empathetic approach.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to manage challenging behaviour in a positive and supportive manner.
* Relevant qualifications or training (desirable but not essential).
* An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
