The Support Manager is responsible for the operation of all activities relating to the welfare, care, development of resident or "companions" in the community residential setting in a manner which embodies the SSSC Codes of Practice, Care Inspectorate Standards and Emmaus ethos, objectives and policies. The post holder will be responsible for the planning, support, development, supervision and training needs of the "companions" & support staff. You will be responsible for auditing files and the community ensuring the best possible service. You will overall responsibility for the service requirements, notifications & inspection by the Care Inspectorate. The post holder will work closely with the Community Director to support the strategic development of the service & social enterprise business activity of the community.
