Nursery Practitioner (Temporary Contract) – Full-Time, Term-Time Only

• 7:30 am – 3:30 pm

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to join our friendly team on a temporary basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about early years education and committed to providing high-quality care and learning experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
General Nursery Duties
• Plan and deliver engaging activities
• Supervise playtimes
• Provide nurturing pastoral care
Safeguarding
• Follow all safeguarding procedures rigorously
• Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children at all times
Key Worker Role
• Take responsibility for a group of key children
• Carry out observations and maintain learning journeys
Teamwork
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a supportive environment
• Help maintain staff–child ratios at all times
Deputy Duties
• Support the Nursery Supervisor with administrative tasks
• Assist with data collection and assessments
• Contribute to day-to-day managerial responsibilities

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
