As part of this growth, they’re seeking an experienced Relationship Director to join their Commercial Banking team.
The Role
This is a home-based role, and the successful candidate could be based anywhere in the Midlands region. You’ll focus on developing and managing a portfolio of commercial customers, structuring secured lending facilities, and providing a first-class relationship-led service.
You’ll work closely with experienced credit and operational teams within a well-capitalised, stable bank that’s serious about growth. With a straightforward approval process and strong leadership support, you’ll have the platform to deliver for your clients and build a high-quality loan book.
Key Responsibilities
* Originate, structure, and manage secured commercial lending relationships.
* Build and develop new business opportunities across your region.
* Deliver tailored funding solutions that meet customer needs and align with risk appetite.
* Work collaboratively with credit and operational colleagues to ensure efficient delivery.
* Maintain a strong understanding of portfolio performance and manage credit risk effectively.
* Represent the bank within the regional business and professional community.
About You
* Proven experience in commercial or corporate banking, with strong lending expertise.
* Track record in originating and managing secured facilities.
* Experience working with Healthcare sector clients or similar is advantageous.
* Excellent relationship management, credit analysis, and structuring skills.
* Self-driven, commercially minded, and comfortable working remotely.
