An opportunity has arisen for a Team Manager based within the Transmission Maintenance West Patch, reporting to the Area Maintenance Manager.
The successful candidate will be managing a small team of highly competent Pressure Control engineers who carry out inspections and maintenance work on SGN’s Transmission and Distribution assets. They will also possess the ability to manage their teams to safely deliver excellent operational performance across a large geographical area.

1. Safe delivery of all scheduled routine and non - routine maintenance tasks
2. Conduct safety and quality audits and inspections of teams and contractors to maintain high standards of personal and operational safety
3. Ownership and completion of small engineering projects to upgrade and improve our assets
4. Driving performance with a pro-active and visible management style
5. Providing engineering support and guidance to our producers, customers and internal stakeholders
6. You may be required to participate in an operational standby rota
What you will need
7. A background in engineering, preferably Mechanical within a regulated industry or,
8. Experience managing operational or engineering teams in a safety critical environment
9. A passion for operational and personal safety
10. An understanding of financial approvals and controls for operational and project engineering
