Job Description
Vertex Search are now looking to find a talented and driven Helpdesk Analyst for our top tier financial services client based in central London.
Your Role
* Tech troubleshooting: Handle first line issues within a predominantly Microsoft setup, including desktop, hardware and AV support
* Network know-how: Tackle basic connectivity tasks to keep systems running smoothly.
* Service delivery: Manage support tickets to completion or escalation, and document solutions for future reference.
* User empowerment: Help with onboarding, offboarding, account setups, and tech access for staff.
What You'll Need
* Tech background: A degree in IT, Computer Science, (or relevant apprentice experience) plus 2+ years of helpdesk or technical support.
* Microsoft skills: Confidence working with Azure, Office 365, and other Microsoft tools like Exchange and AD.
* Troubleshooting: The ability to identify and solve various IT issues (including meeting room/AV setup and fixes) quickly and in a professional manner.
* Communication skills: Interact effectively with users at all levels of the organization.
* Deadline focused mindset: Ability to prioritize tasks and thrive under pressure.
* Certifications are a plus: CompTIA A+, Microsoft Azure/365 certifications are a bonus.

This role will work on a rota between early, standard and late shifts (7pm finish) and will involve occasional lifting of equipment. Vertex Search are working as a recruitment agency on this assignment.
