HR Administrator & Payroll (with focus on Payroll)

Working Hours:Monday, Tuesday & Thursday 0900-1430hrs (15 hours per week)
Pay Rate:£14.85 per hour
Department:Agriculture HR
Role:Part-Time, temporary role with an opportunity to gain permanent employment from December 2026
The Opportunity
This is not simply a role it is an opportunity to join a supportive HR Team .
As a HR Administrator you will:
* Administer weekly and monthly payrolls accurately and within deadlines
* Acting as a first point of contact for pay queries, resolving or escalating as needed
* Supporting managers with pay records and additional payments in MHR
* Managing the Agriculture HR shared inbox and escalating queries where required
* Coordinating new starter onboarding, including right-to-work checks and documentation
* Processing absence records and updating payroll and HR systems accordingly
* Liaising with HR Shared Services on employee changes and updates
* Maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records and digital files
* Updating case management trackers and producing monthly reports

* IT literate with good knowledge of xsngvjr Microsoft Office and HR/Payroll systems
* Ability to handle confidential information appropriately
* Experience working in a busy / similar role
Desirable:
* Previous HR, Payroll, Finance or book keeping experience
