Vehicle Damage Assessor (Remote) Location: Reigate (Remote role - travel required for initial training) Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum team bonus Hours: Monday to Friday Overview ISQ Recruitment are currently supporting a well-established and rapidly expanding vehicle repair organisation in the search for an experienced Vehicle Damage Assessor to join their team on a remote basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident and commercially aware VDA who enjoys working to SLA targets, producing accurate estimates, and supporting site performance while maintaining excellent customer outcomes. Please note: initial training will require travel to Reigate, before moving into the remote working structure. What You'll Be Doing Producing accurate estimates and invoices for vehicle repairs in line with agreed SLA requirements Ensuring repair costings are efficient, commercially viable, and completed in a profitable manner Maintaining control of estimating and invoicing costs in line with partner budget objectives Supporting sites as required to ensure smooth day-to-day operation and strong customer service delivery Completing Initial Parts Assessments (IPA's) to help reduce key-to-key and lifecycle times Ensuring repair methodology aligns with BS10125 standards and approved repair processes Identifying and escalating cases where repairs or estimates do not align with required standards or profitability expectations Supporting with quality-related repair complaints where necessary Identifying and managing total loss cases in line with insurer SLA requirements Working collaboratively with internal teams and management to improve processes and outcomes Following reasonable management instructions and supporting operational requirements as needed Required Skills & Experience Previous experience as a Vehicle Damage Assessor / Estimator within an accident repair environment Strong technical knowledge of body and paint repair within the motor trade Confident producing accurate estimates and invoices while working to SLA and cost control requirements Experience using estimating platforms such as Audatex and/or Glassmatix Knowledge of repair method systems such as E-scribe, Glass's Evaluator, Ezi Methods or similar Strong negotiation skills and the ability to communicate clearly with stakeholders Audatex Gold annual training (advantageous) ATA accreditation (or willingness to achieve ATA if required) A proactive team player with a "can do" attitude and strong organisational skills Up-to-date understanding of relevant vehicle legislation, consumer legislation and industry best practice Benefits This employer offers an excellent benefits package, including: Up to £40,000 per annum team bonus 28 days holiday (including bank holidays) Healthcare Cash Plan (including gym & retail discounts) Employee Assistance Programme Celebration Day (additional day to use for a personal occasion) Car insurance discount Company pension scheme Employee engagement budget for team activities Access to Mental Health First Aiders Cycle to Work Scheme Refer a Friend Scheme (£1,000 reward) Ongoing development and progression opportunities More benefits planned as the business continues to grow How to Apply If you're an experienced Vehicle Damage Assessor looking for a remote opportunity with initial training based in Reigate, ISQ Recruitment would love to hear from you.
