Butler Ross are pleased to be exclusively supporting an FMCG organisation, with their recruitment of a Customs Manager on a permanent basis. This opportunity is based in East Hampshire, and an onsite presence is required 4-days a week (with 1 day WFH). The organisation are flexible on salary, and will consider all individuals with the relevant experience.
Specific details and clarifications can be provided upon request/application.Responsibilities will include:Leading the end-to-end import/export compliance processManaging and overseeing customs brokers, including setting, tracking, and evaluating KPI'sMaintaining the HTS database, resolving customs issues and managing any escalationsLeading both pre and post audits of import documentationContinuously driving process improvements and supporting SOPsSupporting the effective implementation and enhancement of trade compliance software and tools - including stakeholder engagement / company wide adoptionIdeal Experience:Relevant experience within a Customs / Trade Compliance positionExperience / Familiarity with HTS codes / classificationsStrong stakeholder management capabilitiesAny industry/sector experience is welcome to apply, not just FMCGYou must have current UK Right to workIf this opportunity is of interest, or you would like to request additional information / arrange a conversation - please apply.
