We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established care provider for an experienced Registered Manager to lead their elderly residential care home based in Accrington. The service provides residential care for older adults and has a longstanding, committed care team in place. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall performance of the home, ensuring compliance with CQC standards, delivering high-quality person-centred care, and fostering a positive team culture.
Key Responsibilities
Provide strong, visible leadership to the staff team
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including CQC standards
Manage budgets, occupancy, staffing, and resources effectively
Promote a person-centred approach to care
Build strong relationships with residents, families, staff, and external professionals
Drive continuous improvement and ensure the home maintains high standards
Requirements
Previous experience as a Registered Manager in a care home setting
NVQ Level 5 in Health & Social Care (or working towards)
A strong understanding of CQC regulations and expectations
Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
Passionate about delivering high-quality care and creating a positive home environment
