We are looking to hire a dynamic and strategic Head of Sales (UK & Export) to lead our team and drive business growth. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a dynamic leader with a strong background in sales and management to make a significant impact within our organisation.The RoleWe are a small team, so our Head of Sales (UK & Export) needs to enjoy being hands on in addition to developing and executing our sales strategy and growing our revenue. This role requires a strong commercial mindset, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to build lasting relationships with key Distributors and Customers. You will have been active in the spirits sector with a minimum of 5 years’ experience working in international markets, with a proven track record in growing brands.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement scalable sales strategy aligned with organisational goals to maximise revenue growthLead, motivate and develop a small sales team to ensure high performance and achievement of targetsCultivate and maintain strong relationships with distributors, customers and stakeholdersIdentify new market opportunities/distributors and drive expansionProvide leadership in negotiations, contract discussions and closing dealsMonitor sales performance metrics regularly and implement corrective actions as necessaryCollaborate closely with marketing, production and finance to ensure cross‑functional alignmentPrepare accurate sales forecasts and budget plans and pricing strategiesRepresent the company at industry events and market visitsTravel and weekend working will be expected in this roleAbout YouProven track record as Head of Sales / International BDOExperience working in the drinks industry is essentialMinimum of 5 years’ experience working in international marketsDemonstrate success in developing effective sales strategies that deliver measurable resultsExcellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skillsStrong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make strategic decisionsProficiency in languages is preferable but not essentialEntrepreneurial, dynamic, driven, ambitious and happy to be hands onWhat We OfferCompetitive salary & discretionary performance bonusPrivate healthcare and additional benefitsOpportunities for progression in dynamic and thriving organisationSupportive leadership in a collaborative cultureLifestyle/hybrid workingHow to ApplyPlease send your CV and a cover letter stating your salary expectations to HR@lochleadistillery.com.
