Base Salary: £27,000 £29,000 per annum

Total Earnings (with sleep-ins): £33,000 £35,000 per annum
Sleep-in rate: £55 per sleep
Hours: 40 hours per week (rota-based, mixed shifts including sleep-ins)
Contract: Full-time
We are recruiting for an experienced Residential Support Worker to join a 5-bed EBD childrens home registered with Ofsted. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children and young people and committed to delivering high-quality, therapeutic care.
You will support children aged 818 with emotional and behavioural difficulties, helping them to achieve positive outcomes in a safe, structured, and nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the development and delivery of individual care plans
* Build positive, trusting relationships with young people
* Engage children in activities that promote social and emotional development
* Provide day-to-day care while ensuring safeguarding at all times
* Work collaboratively with families and external professionals
* Maintain accurate records and report any concerns promptly
* Participate in daily routines, including sleep-ins and community activities
Requirements:
* Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Childrens Social Care (essential)
* At least 2 years experience in a childrens residential home (EBD)
* Full UK driving licence
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability xsngvjr to work flexibly, including weekends, mixed shifts, and sleep-ins
* Must have the right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available)
