Essential Requirements
* Must be time served with post qualification experience in a technical machining background
* Ability to program HAAS, Heidenhain or Fanuc controls.
* Experience & understanding in machining of fabrications.
* Experience in machining 1 offs & Small batches of parts.
* Highest standards of Health, Safety and Quality is essential
* Ability to interpret detailed engineering drawings, understand drawing symbols and deliver conforming parts. Working with various materials including exotic grade alloys
* A detailed understanding of engineering drawing, tooling selection, work holding & cutting strategy is essential
* A good communicator at all levels, with the ability to integrate and support a successful team
Hourly Rate
£35.5K per annum
Working Week
Standard Week: 37 hours Mon‑Thurs 07:30 – 16:00 – half hour lunch 12:00 – 12:30; Fri 07:30 – 12:30 – no lunch break
Overtime
Overtime rate, if available: Additional hours x 1.5
Holidays
25 days per annum + bank holidays
