GSL Education are currently seeking a dedicated Humanities Teacher to join a school in Nottingham. This role provides the opportunity to teach a range of Humanities subjects, support pupils’ academic development, and foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment. Role Overview: As a Humanities Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons across subjects such as History, Geography, and Religious Education. You will encourage pupils to think critically, develop their knowledge of society and culture, and gain skills that prepare them for future learning and careers. As a Humanities Teacher, you will: Plan, prepare, and deliver dynamic Humanities lessons across Key Stages. Inspire pupils to engage with topics that explore people, places, and societies. Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback. Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment. Work collaboratively with colleagues to support cross-curricular learning and enrichment opportunities. Prioritise safeguarding and pupil welfare at all times. Requirements for Humanities Teacher: UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Experience teaching Humanities subjects at school level. Strong subject knowledge across History, Geography, and/or Religious Education. Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills. An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply). A full CV covering the last 10 years, with explanations for any gaps.
