About the role
We have an exciting opportunity to join our Maintenance team as a Regional Maintenance Manager, working to deliver high quality leadership to a large team of 35 Technicians, 4 Technical Planners and 4 Team Managers, who are providing Maintenance services to our internal and external customers.
Our Regional Maintenance Manager will drive improvement across areas including safety, compliance, people, service, cash and continuous improvement.
Working across the business, the role is required to balance the needs of multiple internal customers and stakeholders and will act as a senior point of contact and the focal point for the allocated area in terms of all escalations representing the department on incidents and events.
Building healthy and strong relationships the role holder will need use their network with operations, capital delivery, engineering, SHE, planning and scheduling, BCM, reliability engineering and the supply chain to deliver outstanding results.
With a continuous improvement mindset and working closely with their peer group, the role holder will be accountable to deliver improvements to metrics, systems, ways of working and functional maturity.

With outstanding organisational and time management skills, you will be able to balance multiple priorities in a fast paced and dynamic working environment. You will have the flexibility and responsiveness to quickly identify and react to emergent issues.
Technically credible, you will have a Level 4 or Level 5 qualification in a relevant technical discipline and should either have, or be working towards, professional registration at either IEng or CEng level.
You will have extensive experience and an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the dynamics and requirements of busy and complex maintenance or process operations department across a large scale and geographically dispersed asset base. You should also have extensive knowledge of the statutory and regulatory requirements impacting the department.

This role has also been defined as a safety or security critical role and as a condition of a formal offer of employment you’ll be required to undergo a drug and alcohol test.
