Job Description
We have an opportunity for an experienced IT Student Systems Manager who will lead and manage the IT Student Systems Development team and will be responsible for the IT service ownership including the development, enhancement, optimization, and maintenance of student systems.
The team is responsible for the analysis, development, and testing of solutions to a high standard and quality to provide performant student systems that are reliable, agile, and maintainable.
You will oversee the integration between these systems and other external systems ensuring that the systems meet the requirements of the University whilst continuing to evolve and improve to meet emerging needs and opportunities and deliver efficient business processes aligned to the Universities strategic direction.
Responsibilities and Requirements
Candidates with extensive experience in the use and development of corporate student systems and experience of the management of student systems including technical environment, version management, and system monitoring will be welcomed.
Foundation in ITIL based service delivery is essential. Educated to degree level or above. The ideal candidate will also hold excellent verbal and written communication skills, analytical skills, be self-motivated, and be able to demonstrate a proven track record of delivering student system services.
What We Offer
The full-time starting salary is normally £52,462 per annum, with progression available in post to £60,842 per annum. Grade: H, Full-time, permanent role.
