Summary We are seeking a Business Development Manager to join our dynamic team in the UK. In this pivotal role, you will drive growth by connecting ambitious investors with high-growth opportunities, embodying our mission of delivering performance with purpose. As an Business Development Manager at Big Roar, you’ll take qualified appointments and turn them into long-term investor relationships. This role is about more than closing deals, it’s about understanding client goals, delivering high-impact investment opportunities, and becoming a trusted source of alternative investments. This is a high-performance role where your ability to build rapport, negotiate effectively, and maintain a strong pipeline will define your success. Key Responsibilities Manage and convert pre-qualified investor appointments into closed investments Build and nurture strong relationships with investors, understanding their goals and matching them to suitable opportunities Maintain an organised, accurate CRM record of all prospect and client interactions Collaborate with Investment Advisers to ensure a steady pipeline of high-quality appointments Achieve and exceed individual and team monthly revenue targets Represent Big Roar professionally at client meetings, events, and presentations The Type of Person Who Thrives Here Confident closer – you’re not just persuasive, you’re consultative and credible Relationship builder – you inspire trust and long-term client loyalty Results driven – you’re motivated by targets and unafraid of high expectations Resilient – you stay focused and positive under pressure Strategic thinker – you spot opportunities and act on them fast Qualifications & Experience Proven success in high-value B2C or B2B sales Excellent communication and negotiation skills Experience managing a sales pipeline and CRM system Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment Knowledge of ethical investments, property, or renewables (desirable) Minimum GCSEs or equivalent; higher education or financial certifications a plus What’s in It for You £35k base salary uncapped commission on closed deals Performance bonuses and accelerators for exceeding targets Spot prizes and quarterly team rewards for top performers Ongoing professional development with experienced commercial leaders A vibrant, supportive office culture with regular socials and recognition events At Big Roar, we don’t just raise funds, we’re building a future where profit and purpose work hand in hand.
