Overview

Provide effective administrative support for the ENGIE Markham Office and Canadian Renewable operating sites in support of office personnel, other plant management and technical employees as needed.


Responsibilities

* Assist with cost and procurement controls, budget preparation and review, resolution of billing, vendor management, reports and correspondence preparation.
* Serve as a member of the local safety committee
* Generate purchase orders to vendors and assist with expediting and delivery of orders, as well as close out of purchase orders
* Produce documents and reports as requested by operational leaders
* Assist supervisors in scheduling and coordination of travel arrangements
* Maintain, monitor, and process invoices and purchase orders; maintain inventory records for accounting related documents
* Establish and maintain general administrative activities including timesheets, timesheet summaries, and recordkeeping activities
* Maintain plant accounting activities
* Coordinate with corporate human resources department to provide assistance as needed
* Maintain routine plant operating logs and reports


Qualifications

* Associate or Bachelor’s degree plus 3 - 5 years of relevant experience, or
* High School diploma (required), plus five (5) years of relevant experience
* Thorough knowledge of administrative and secretarial functions
* Ability to use analytical judgment to plan and perform diversified work, making decisions within prescribed limitations
* Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers and take direction from others
* Compliance with training / regulatory requirements
* Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies
* Education Level: High School Diploma/GED/A Levels
