Randstad C&P are currently seeking an experienced Lead Electrical/Mechanical Engineer to join our clients Facilities Management team in Darlington/Sedgefield. This is a full-time, permanent position working Monday to Friday. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong engineer with supervisory or mentoring experience/ certs.
The Package:
* Competitive salary between £40,000 - £42,000 per annum (Depending on experience/Quals)
* Full-time and permanent, Monday to Friday
* 40 hours per week, 8.30am - 4.30pm
* Pool van for company use

The main duties:
* Direct line management of the engineering workforce.
* Monitor performance of the engineering workforce.
* Allocate tasks to appropriate staff using CAFM system.
* Take on Authorised Person duties in relevant areas.
* Participate in the Engineers On-Call rota.
* Ensure that workforce meet relevant task KPIs.
* Provide technical support and guidance to workforce.
The requirements:
* Qualified time-served Electrician/Mechanical Engineer with significant post-qualification experience (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
* City & Guilds 2391 or 2394/5 desirable
* BS7671 18th Edition
* Experience in a supervisory/mentor role (With Certificates)
* Good communication skills
* Good interpersonal skills
* Full UK drivers licence
