Director – Community Engagement Board

Remote (Heathrow travel 2–3x per week)

I'm currently partnering with an independent, non-profit body overseeing community engagement linked to a major UK infrastructure programme.
This is a high-impact, senior leadership opportunity for someone who thrives in complex, multi-stakeholder environments and is passionate about public value and meaningful community engagement.
You will:
Establish and lead an independent Community Engagement Board
Shape strategy and oversee delivery of its work programme
Represent the Board in senior forums
Build trusted relationships across communities, public bodies and project stakeholders
Lead governance, board operations and a small supporting team
We're looking for a credible senior leader with:
Experience delivering high-profile, multi-agency programmes
Strong public policy and stakeholder engagement expertise
Governance and board-level experience
Excellent influencing and communication skills
