Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Professional to join our team in Bath, United Kingdom. As a Care Professional, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by providing essential non-medical support services, enabling them to maintain their independence in the comfort of their own homes.
* Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care, mobility, and meal preparation
* Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, engaging them in conversation and activities
* Monitor clients' well-being and report any changes in their condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals
* Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients, including light housekeeping duties
* Accompany clients to appointments and social activities as required
* Administer medication as per prescribed schedules and guidelines
* Maintain accurate records of care provided and any significant events or observations
* Collaborate with other care team members to ensure consistent, high-quality care
* Participate in ongoing training and development programmes to enhance your skills and knowledge
* Adapt to changing client needs and preferences, ensuring a person-centred approach to care
Qualifications
* No formal qualifications required; full training will be provided to achieve the care certificate
* Previous experience in a care setting or interacting with older people is beneficial but not essential
* Genuine passion for supporting others and commitment to delivering outstanding care
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to build professional relationships
* Reliable, trustworthy, and respectful demeanour
* Empathetic nature with the ability to provide emotional support
* Physical stamina to assist with mobility and personal care tasks
* Patience and understanding when working with clients who may have complex needs
* Basic literacy and numeracy skills for accurate record-keeping
* Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings
