The Role: The Diamonds ASD Hub is an integral part of Moorgate Primary School. We are looking to appoint an experienced SEND Class Teacher, Diamonds Hub Lead, and whole school SENDCO who has knowledge and understanding of working with children with special needs and their families. We are looking for someone to join our enthusiastic, caring, and committed team. The successful applicant will have excellent communication skills (oral and written), be resilient, and have good time management. They will have the ability to cope with pressure and relate well to children on the ASD Spectrum within the Diamonds Hub.
The post is busy and demanding and requires a highly motivated and organized individual who will need a pleasant and calm approach, be able to undertake a wide range of duties, and be prepared to take on "anything" from the most basic to the most complex. The applicant should also be able to work as part of a team and have a good sense of humor.
The post requires you to be responsible for the welfare and education of pupils aged 2-11 years, sharing in the ethos and vision of the school, moving towards its aims, and having due regard to the school’s policies and practices.
