We are looking for a highly motivated Multi-Skilled Clearance Administrator to join our clients Customs Clearance & Data Bureau team. This is a varied and hands-on role combining customs documentation, data processing, client communication and operational support.

The Role of the Multi-Skilled Clearance Administrator
You will play a key role in preparing and processing import/export customs clearances while supporting internal departments and maintaining excellent customer service standards. Approximately 15% of the role will involve physical checks of vehicle contents.
Key Responsibilities of Multi-Skilled Clearance Administrator
* Monitor and manage shared workflow mailboxes
* Process and route emails to appropriate internal departments
* Communicate with clients by phone and email regarding job status
* Receive data files and job instructions via email and SFTP
* Prepare, check and process import/export customs documentation
* Calculate and verify duties, taxes and international charges
* Ensure full compliance with HMRC and Border Force regulations
* Use Sequoia, Savvy (bespoke system) and other customs entry systems
* Visually inspect vehicle contents when required
* Maintain organised workspaces and a positive team approach
* Contribute to continuous process improvement

Essential:
* Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
* Excellent organisational and time management skills
* Confident IT user (Excel & Word)
* Professional communication skills (written & verbal)
* Flexible, reliable and trustworthy
* Able to follow procedures and work independently
Desirable:
* GCSE Maths & English (Grade C/4 or above) or equivalent
* A/AS Level or Graduate calibre
* Knowledge or interest in IT, data or databases
* Excel skills including VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables
* Experience with customs software or logistics systems
