Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to lead our culinary team in WORCESTER & DROITWICH. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing food preparation, ensuring high standards of food safety and quality, and managing kitchen operations efficiently. Duties
* Prepare and cook a variety of dishes in accordance with menu specifications and quality standards
* Supervise kitchen staff, including training and mentoring team members to ensure smooth operations
* Manage food production processes, ensuring timely delivery of meals during service hours
* Oversee food safety procedures, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in compliance with regulations
* Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and customer satisfaction
* Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock control to minimise waste
* Develop new menu ideas in collaboration with management, incorporating seasonal ingredients and current culinary trends
* Maintain a positive and professional working environment, fostering teamwork and high morale
Requirements
* Proven experience in a similar role within a restaurant or hospitality setting, with strong kitchen experience
* Supervising experience with the ability to lead and manage a diverse team effectively
* Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and presentation skills
* Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations (e.g., HACCP)
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask under pressure during busy service periods
* Leadership qualities combined with a passion for culinary excellence and innovation
* Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and management
* Previous experience in food production, hospitality, or restaurant environments is highly desirable

Pay: £12.21-£13.50 per hour
