About the Role: Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer (Day & Night Shifts)
Joining their exciting team based in the East of England, you’ll take on the role of a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you’ll be responsible for providing on-site electrical & mechanical maintenance works, both on a planned and reactive basis.
Responsibilities:
· Conducting both electrical & mechanical maintenance works on our clients’ production machines & ancillary equipment.
· Responsible for attending breakdowns on both a planned preventative & reactive maintenance basis. This role is approx. 80% reactive, 20% planned maintenance.
· Conducting maintenance work on production machines including: injection moulding machines, extrusion moulding machines & granulators.
· Please note this role is approximately responsible for 80% electrical, 20% mechanical maintenance works.
· Working as part of a team to resolve breakdowns & propose solutions to problems when necessary.
· Working on a 3-week shift pattern, covering both 12 hour day & night shifts.
Requirements:
· Minimum of 2 years’ time served experience in an electrically biassed, multiskilled maintenance role.
· Minimum of an NVQ Level 3 qualification in an Electrical Engineering discipline.
· Strong mechanical engineering knowledge.
· Experience of working within a highly regulated industry. Our client is ideally looking for: industrial manufacturing, plastics, packaging, oil & gas or renewables industry experience.
· Happy to work both day & night shifts.
· Full right to work in the UK.
