Role Description
The purpose of the Broker Support Role within Asset Finance (AF) is to ensure the best possible customer experience for Allica’s Asset Finance product from the Banks panel of brokers. Working closely with our Business Development Managers and Commercial Finance Brokers, our Sales Support, and Underwriting teams, you will be responsible for a portfolio of AF cases, managing all relevant activity to progress the case efficiently and effectively from proposal to document handover.
Principal Accountabilities
1. Submitting Asset Finance applications, in line with Allica’s credit policies, ensuring sufficient information is provided to the Underwriters to enable them to make sound lending decisions.
2. Deliver pre and post-sanction administration to ensure timely release of communications, acceptance conditions, and document processing to support the bank’s ethos of fast, high-quality service.
3. Manage workload and working day to ensure adherence to service level agreements and quality expectations, driving efficiency through right first time.
4. Maintain good working relationships with all panel brokers to ensure smooth and timely exchange of correspondence and communication.
5. Build and maintain relationships with core internal stakeholders, especially Underwriting and Business Development Managers.
6. Maintain accurate records for each case, including a clear sanction audit trail.
7. Ensure compliance with Bank’s policies, procedures, guidelines, and all regulatory and statutory requirements, protecting the Bank’s business.
8. Adhere to the Bank’s brand and culture values, ensuring all accountabilities are undertaken in accordance with policies and procedures, with good client outcomes as a priority.
9. Communicate relevant information to team members, senior management, and other interested parties for informed decision-making.
10. Gather necessary documentation from Introducers and Business Development Managers for loan applications.
11. Maintain clear and accurate internal records for MI and monitoring.
12. Update customer records, including data entry into Ascent, the Core Banking system.
13. Assist Operations and other departments as directed.

7. Strong organizational and time-management skills.
8. Technical proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Outlook, etc.
