Room Leader - Pembury (TN2) - Monday to Friday (40 hours - 8-6 with the same day off each week) - Level 3 - £11.50+ per hour!
Nursery Practitioner needed in Pembury (TN2) for a lovely nursery located just a 4-minute walk from the nearest bust stop.
This setting is a family run / managed full day care nursery, for children from 3 months of age, and provide a high quality childcare and early years education across 3 small nurseries in the area. Ofsted registered and follow the EYFS statutory framework offering unique learning opportunities which support the needs, learning and interests of each individual child in our care.
The nursery caters for 48 children which provides a safe and secure environment for both the children and staff, plan days out and focuses on the indivdual needs of each child. Joining the nursery, you will be playing a key role in being a role model to 6 babies in the room and providing support and leadership to the practitioners in the room.
Nursery experience is essential.
Hours & salary - 40 Hours Per Week - 4 days a week (8-6) and the same day off each week.
Your main tasks and duties include:
To work flexibly as part of the larger team, assisting and supporting colleagues wherever required, to ensure the smooth running of the nursery.
1. Contribute to the effectiveness of teamwork by: Communication is a vital part of team work, supporting management in remaining 'good' and strive towards achieving outstanding with Ofsted, Reflect upon our practice daily in everything we do.
2. To be part of a team that provides a purposeful, stimulating environment that is rich in learning opportunities, both indoors and outdoor
3. To assist in the development and support of other staff members by communicating effectively, sharing knowledge and experience, delegating tasks appropriately, identifying training needs, leading meetings, inductions and 1:1's - with support from the nursery manager.
4. To respect and value all colleagues, children and parents, encouraging a positive and diverse working environment.
5. To co-operate and work effectively with the manager, taking on additional responsibilities/duties and positively promoting developments in policies and procedures to team
