Job Title: Water Hygiene / Treatment Engineer Location: Sheffield, South Yorkshire Salary/Benefits: £25k - £34k Training & Benefits Due to recently winning new contracts in the area, our client is recruiting for an experienced Water Hygiene / Treatment Engineer in the Yorkshire region. You will be joining a respected name within the industry, who have a growing client base and UK-wide presence. Applicants must be able to demonstrate strong experience of undertaking ACOP L8 compliance across a variety of premises. It would be advantageous to have good access to the M1 and / or M62 for easier travel across the region. Experience / Qualifications: * Experience working as a Water Hygiene / Treatment Engineer * Fully versed in ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines * Flexible to travel in line with company requirements * Confident working alone on projects when required * Good literacy and numeracy skill level * Proficient in using IT software The Role: * Undertaking a variety of pre-planned water hygiene / treatment duties across commercial, public sector and local authority premises * TMV servicing and failsafe checks * Showerhead descales * Basic flushing on little used outlets * Mains injections * Cleans and chlorinations on cold water storage tanks * Cleans and disinfections on cooling towers * Calorifier blowdowns * Routine water sampling and temperature monitoring * Completing regular service reports * Working to set personal targets Alternative job titles: Water Hygiene Operative, Legionella Operative, Environmental Service Technician, Water Treatment Engineer, Water Hygiene Engineer, Legionella Technician.
