We're looking for a Payroll Specialist to join a growing, forward-thinking automotive business based onsite near Daventry, Northamptonshire on a Full-time or Part-time basis!

What you'll do as the Payroll Specialist
Run and administer monthly payroll for UK employees (circa 250), ensuring total accuracy and compliance
Be the go-to person for all payroll and pension queries in-person, over email and via phone
Liaise with HMRC on PAYE and tax queries, resolving any discrepancies quickly
Administer the company's pension scheme and manage employee queries
Prepare month-end payroll journals and assist with reconciliations
Collaborate with HR to process overtime, absences, and benefits
Support expense and contractor payments, maintaining organised records
Keep systems and processes aligned with the latest legislation and best practice
Who we're looking for
3+ years' experience in a payroll function
Confident communicator who enjoys working with people across all levels
Strong attention to detail, with a methodical and proactive approach
Comfortable using payroll systems and Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
Payroll qualification desirable but not essential — experience counts too!
