Job Summary
Micheldever Tyre Services is looking for a reliable, enthusiastic Site Supervisor with excellent work ethic to join our team in Workington. Reporting to the Site Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the operational requirements within the Warehouse & Transport functions. Supporting the Site Manager to implement Company Policies, Procedures and Practices including Health and Safety. Take a proactive approach to drive the Site forward with new initiatives, delivering the business objectives and KPIs, whilst creating a positive working environment and culture for team members. A Full UK driving licence.
1. Location: Lillyhall, Workington
2. Working pattern: Monday to Friday, with rota Saturday overtime
3. Must Have: A Full UK Driving Licence, IOSH (or similar) qualification and People Management experience

About the role:
6. Motivate and encourage team members creating a positive working environment
7. Hold regular team briefings to keep everyone informed on performance and communicate important information and changes.
8. Drive efficiencies, whilst improving service levels
9. Accountable for ensuring all team members comply with all aspects of Legal and Company defined legislations and policies
10. Delivery of routine KPI targets
11. Ensure Site Stock levels are maintained relevant to pre-determined Stock Profile
12. Maintain accurate records to support internal and external audits
13. A key holder responsible for the site’s security in the Site Managers absence
14. Creating daily and weekly plans as required
15. Ensure a proactive approach to excellent Customer Service is delivered
About you: your experience and background
16. Experience in a warehouse / logistics supervisor role, ideal but not essential
17. Experience of creating daily / weekly plan
18. Proven experience of developing a team
19. Demonstrable leadership skills
20. An understanding of workplace Health & Safety
21. Working knowledge of key aspects of route planning
22. Demonstrates good stock process controls
