What you’ll do?
Prepare and check aseptic products to ensure patient safety.
Contribute to the smooth running of our technical services, maintaining compliance with GMP standards.
Play a key role in delivering life‑saving treatments to our patients at WHH.

Main duties of the job
This post holder will provide an effective Aseptic/technical service by producing and distributing sterile parenteral medication in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and the standards required for the Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) and other National/Regional Guidelines in a timely manner to all wards at both sites at Warrington and Halton Teaching Hospitals (WHH).

Person Specification
Qualifications
* Maths/English GCSE or equivalent
* NVQ level 2 Pharmacy services
Experience
* Experience of working in an NHS hospital pharmacy setting.
* Experience of working in an Aseptic unit or GMP facility.
Knowledge and Skills
* Good information technology skills.
* Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines whilst paying attention to detail.
* Knowledge of GMP.
