Senior Network Analyst – University of Greenwich
Technology & Operations – The Information and Library Services Directorate delivers award‑winning IT services, library, academic and digital skills and learning enhancement to staff and students across the university.
Role Overview
The University is seeking a highly motivated, dynamic and talented Senior Network Analyst to support and drive the existing and future development of our network infrastructure. Working within the Network Team, the postholder will be responsible for the design, maintenance and delivery of networking services for the University, and will provide subject‑matter expertise and guidance for network infrastructure, projects and services.
Responsibilities
* Design, maintain and enhance network infrastructures across all campuses.
* Provide support and troubleshooting for campus networks.
* Drive enhancements by reviewing existing processes and working with stakeholders to introduce improved ways of working and new functionality under continuous service improvement.
Qualifications
* Experience running an enterprise‑class network service.
* Experience installing, configuring, managing and administering network infrastructure such as firewalls, routers, switches and wireless infrastructure.
* Experience managing network services such as DHCP, DNS, IP Address Management, VPNs, RADIUS/TACACS+, Syslog, NTP.
* Experience designing new or substantially upgrading network topologies and services.
* Experience designing monitoring systems that ensure service reliability, availability and adherence to KPIs.
Requirements
Educated to degree level or holding a professional qualification.
