Assistant Estate Manager
A rare chance to join a progressive rural estate in East Anglia, supporting the day-to-day running of a diverse land-based business. This is a hands-on role for someone with solid experience in estate management, combinable cropping, and tractor driving-no exceptions.
The estate includes a mix of arable land, let vegetable ground, actively managed woodland, and a portfolio of residential and commercial property. You'll work closely with senior leadership, gaining practical exposure across farming, property, and environmental management.
Key responsibilities include:
Supporting arable operations and land management
Assisting with residential and commercial property oversight
Contributing to woodland and environmental stewardship projects
Liaising with contractors, tenants, and estate staff
Coordinating maintenance and compliance across the estate
We're looking for someone who:
Has hands-on experience with combinable crops and tractor driving
Brings a strong grounding in estate management
Is MRICS-qualified or working towards it (preferred, not essential)
Is practical, proactive, and professional
Enjoys varied work and getting stuck in
