We are looking for a confident and caring Team Leader to join our residential care home team. In this hands-on leadership role, you'll be responsible for supervising care staff, ensuring high standards of care, and supporting residents with dignity and respect.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and support the care team during shifts
* Allocate staff duties and ensure effective handovers
* Provide and oversee personal care in line with individual care plans
* Supervise, mentor, and support care assistants
* Maintain accurate documentation and assist with care plan audits
* Encourage resident engagement and promote independence
* Liaise with families and external professionals
Requirements:
* Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care – essential
* Experience in a senior care or team leader role – essential
* Experience in a care home setting – required
* Experience with dementia care – essential
* Strong leadership and communication skills
* A compassionate, resident-focused approach
Working Pattern:
* Flexible shifts over two weeks rota
* Alternate weekend working required
* On call duties
