SEN Educators & Support Staff Location: Southampton Settings: SEN & SEMH Schools Employer: Teaching Personnel Start Date: Immediate Contract Type: Flexible About the Roles Teaching Personnel is recruiting SEN Teachers, Teaching Assistants, and Support Assistants to work across a range of specialist SEN and SEMH schools throughout Southampton and Hampshire. You will be supporting children and young people with a variety of additional needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and complex needs Available Roles & Pay Support Assistants / Teaching Assistants: £13.75 per hour Qualified Teachers (QTS required): Paid to scale Key Responsibilities Provide 1:1 and small group support Assist with learning activities and emotional regulation Help create a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment Support behaviour management strategies Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and wider school staff Encourage independence, confidence, and engagement About You Experience working with children or young people with SEN or SEMH QTS required for teaching roles Calm, empathetic, and adaptable approach Strong communication and teamwork skills Why Work with Teaching Personnel? All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position.
