We are looking for an experienced, organised and versatile Procurement Manager to be based at our Cambridge Technology Centre to lead all activities associated with the supply of indirect goods and services.
Reporting to and working closely with the Head of Procurement, you’ll join a dynamic and rapidly growing business, performing a critical and strategic support function. This role will require cross-functional engagement and collaboration across the business to create, develop and implement procurement processes to meet business requirements and drive profitability.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs and develop aligned procurement strategies across all indirect categories.
Develop and implement procurement processes for the supply of indirect goods and services, in line with company priorities and procurement strategic objectives.
Manage the end-to-end procurement process for all indirect categories ensuring optimal delivery and performance.
Negotiate mutually beneficial agreements, including Frameworks and Service Level Agreements, that secure the most advantageous terms whilst mitigating risk.
Build effective supplier relationships based on an ethos of excellence and continuous improvement.
Monitor and report on supplier and functional performance.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement initiatives to maximise the associated benefit.
Provide procurement support and guidance across the business demonstrating the added value a robust procurement function can bring.

The following is required for this role:
Strong knowledge and proven experience within indirect procurement, sourcing and negotiation.
Excellent numeracy and problem-solving skills.
Experience in creating and embedding procurement processes and procedures.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability and confidence to support, influence and challenge cross-functional teams.
Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers.
Results-orientated with a focus on driving continuous improvement and delivering tangible business outcomes.
Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Your qualifications
Ideally, you will have one or both of the following, however, this is not an essential requirement. We are open to candidates who can demonstrate relevant experience and/or competencies for the role.
A degree in a related discipline.
CIPS qualified.
