About the Role
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you’ll work closely with pupils aged 4–19 who have a range of needs including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, learning and behavioural difficulties. You’ll support them in class, in small groups, and through 1:1 interventions—helping them regulate emotions, build confidence, and re-engage with learning.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Supporting pupils with tailored learning plans and EHCPs
* Assisting with communication, sensory, and behavioural needs
* Creating a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment
* Collaborating with teachers, therapists, and families
* Encouraging independence and celebrating progress

About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
* Passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs
* Calm, patient, and emotionally resilient
* Experienced in education, care, youth work or similar (training provided)
* DBS-checked (or willing to apply)
* Open to ongoing professional development
