Are you a passionate Early Years Specialist seeking a full-time Nursery Teacher role in a welcoming and community-focused primary school?
We are delighted to be working with a friendly primary school in Chatham, who are looking for a qualified Nursery Teacher to join their team. You will lead the nursery class attached to the school and play a key role in shaping the early learning experiences of 3–4-year-olds.
Job Description:
This is a fantastic opportunity to take on full teaching responsibilities in a supportive environment. You will work alongside dedicated staff who share a strong sense of teamwork and community spirit.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom where every child feels valued.
Monitor and assess children’s progress, adapting teaching strategies to meet individual needs.
Promote social, emotional, and communication development through play-based learning.
Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers to ensure a positive learning experience.
Lead your class with enthusiasm and care, helping each child reach their full potential.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS).
Strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum.
A caring and enthusiastic approach to early childhood education.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
A valid enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
