Activities Support Worker and Day Club Supervisor

About Us
The Rainbow care group provides Dementia day care services across Northamptonshire. We run our groups from peaceful community settings to ensure the days do not feel clinical or institutional. We encourage social interaction and fun, while providing much needed cognitive stimulation through meaningful activities. Our vision is to change the way Dementia care services are delivered in Northamptonshire through our pioneering and person-centred approach.
What You Need
You will have a minimum of two years previous experience in care, or a related field. You will be compassionate, resilient and be committed to enhancing the quality of life of individuals with Dementia. You will approach your work with empathy, patience, and sincere commitment. It will be your mission to promote dignity and independence, by providing care and support in a safe and happy environment, enabling people to participate in social interaction and meaningful and purposeful activities in our community. Relevant certificates or experience in a supervisory role within Dementia care setting is highly desirable, although not essential
Responsibilities and Duties Include
* to manage, supervise and support colleagues and other day club volunteers or visitors to carry out their duties safely and effectively.
* to liase with carers and their families with compassion
* to plan ongoing weekly activities and trips for members based on personal interests.
* to encourage members to maintain maximum independence, taking into account any physical/mental disabilities and to stimulate their participation in activities.
* to assist with the preparation of refreshments and meals
* to ensure that all members are happy and cared fornas if they are a member of own family
Part time hours, to start November 2025
activities Support Worker£12.25 rising to £12.50 after 3 month probationary period
Day Club Supervisor £13.00 rising to £13.50 after 3 month probationary period
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £12.25-£13.50 per hour
Expected hours: 14 per week
