We're working with a leading infrastructure contractor to recruit a Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial delivery of energy projects across the region. Projects sit within long‑term frameworks and include a range of civils‑based works across utilities and infrastructure schemes.
Key Responsibilities
Commercial Management
* Produce cost and value reporting, forecasts and CVRs
* Prepare applications for payment and manage cash flow
* Monitor costs against budget and support financial control
Contracts & Supply Chain
* Manage subcontractor procurement, measurement and payments
* Place subcontract orders aligned with main contract terms
* Monitor subcontractor performance and manage variations/claims
Governance & Reporting
* Ensure compliance with contractual and internal processes
* Support cost value reconciliation and reporting
* Assist with project close‑out and final accounts
What We’re Looking For
Essential
* Quantity Surveyor experience within energy or infrastructure, with a strong civils background
* Experience managing subcontractors and commercial processes
* Strong understanding of cost reporting and NEC contracts
* Good communication and organisational skills
Desirable
* Degree or HND in Quantity Surveying
* Experience with COINS or similar systems
* CSCS card
