Chance to push the service forward, you will provide supervision to junior therapistsNonStop Care is supporting a specialist education provider in Twickenham, South West London seeking an Occupational Therapist to join their established therapy team.
This is a highly practical role where therapy is embedded into the school curriculum, allowing you to focus on delivering interventions rather than excessive planning. You will work closely with SALT, therapy assistants, and education staff, supporting students with communication and functional needs.
Responsibilities of Occupational Therapist Band 6:
Managing a school-based paediatric caseload across two sites
Delivering 1:1 and functional therapy interventions
Supporting students with daily living and community-based skills
Contributing to EHCP annual reviews and joint MDT reports
Working collaboratively with staff, families, and the wider therapy team
Providing supervision to junior therapitsRequirements for Occupational Therapist band 6:
HCPC registration (or eligibility)
Degree in Occupational Therapy
Experience within paediatrics or school-based settings
Strong MDT working and communication skills
