Quantity Surveyor – M&E We’re working with a leading construction contractor with an outstanding industry reputation and a turnover exceeding £100m, looking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor to join their fast-paced M&E business unit. This is a varied role working across multiple sectors with responsibility for commercial management from pre-construction through to final account. Projects & Sectors * New build housing estates * Schools, colleges, and universities * Private sector clients Scope of Works Projects typically include: * Full new build mechanical & electrical packages * Solar installations * Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHP) * Plant room renewals * Additional ASHP and solar upgrades to existing buildings Contract values range from £50k to £2.5m. The Role * Managing project costs and commercial performance * Subcontractor procurement and account management * Valuations, variations, and final accounts * Cost reporting and forecasting * Working closely with operational and delivery teams * Supporting multiple projects across the region Requirements * Previous Quantity Surveying experience within construction or M&E/building services * Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail * Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment * Degree qualified preferred What’s on Offer ...
