Become a key member of the Henrys Skoda team in Glasgow! We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Technician to maintain and repair vehicles to the highest standards. This is a full-time role where you will contribute to our reputation for excellent service.
Duties:
1. Conduct thorough vehicle inspections, servicing, and repairs according to manufacturer guidelines and company standards.
2. Diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle faults efficiently and accurately using your technical expertise.
3. Perform road tests to ensure the effectiveness of repairs and identify any further issues.
4. Ensure all work is completed to a high quality and within the allocated timeframes.
5. Maintain accurate and detailed records of all inspections, repairs, and services carried out.
6. Work collaboratively with other technicians and service advisors to ensure a smooth workflow.
7. Adhere to all health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and organised workshop environment.
8. Utilise and maintain workshop equipment and tools effectively.
Experience:
1. Proven experience working as a Technician in a workshop environment is essential.
2. Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
3. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
4. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
