An ambitious independent communications agency based in Leeds is looking to appoint a talented B2B PR Account Manager to join its growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced PR professional who thrives in a fast-paced agency environment and enjoys delivering strategic, commercially focused campaigns for B2B clients. The agency works with a diverse portfolio of brands across the built environment, professional services, manufacturing and property sectors, so previous B2B communications experience is essential.
Experience working with property, construction, housebuilder or wider built environment clients would be a significant advantage.
The Role
Reporting into senior leadership, the Account Manager will take ownership of client relationships, campaign delivery and day-to-day account management across a range of B2B accounts.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Managing multiple B2B PR accounts and acting as a key client contact
* Developing and delivering integrated PR and communications campaigns
* Writing high-quality press releases, thought leadership articles, award entries and client content
* Securing coverage across trade, regional and national media
* Building strong relationships with journalists, clients and industry stakeholders
* Supporting strategic planning and contributing ideas that align with client objectives
* Managing campaign timelines, budgets and reporting
* Mentoring and supporting junior team members
* Identifying opportunities to grow existing accounts and support new business activity
The Candidate
The successful candidate is likely to have:
* Previous experience in a PR agency environment
* Strong B2B communications experience
* Excellent writing, editing and storytelling skills
* Proven experience managing client relationships confidently and proactively
* A strong understanding of media relations and content strategy
* The ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
* Experience within property, housebuilding, construction or the built environment sector would be highly advantageous
* A collaborative and commercially minded approach
