We are working with an established and expanding law firm who are seeking a motivated Paralegal to join it's busy and growing Private Client department based in their South Essex branch. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced individual looking to take the next step in their legal career within a supportive, professional and forward-thinking team.
You will work closely with experienced Private Client Solicitors, providing high-quality legal and administrative support across a broad range of matters, including Wills, Probate, Estate Administration, Trusts, Lasting Powers of Attorney and Court of Protection work.
Duties may include:
1. Assisting with case management and document preparation
2. Drafting correspondence and legal documents
3. Liaising with clients, third parties and internal teams
4. Managing diaries, file administration and compliance tasks
5. Supporting fee earners to ensure the smooth running of matters
The ideal candidate will have:
6. Previous experience in a Private Client department (essential)
7. Strong organisational and communication skills
8. A proactive, professional and client-focused approach
9. Ability to manage a busy and varied workload
10. A keen desire to progress and develop within the Private Client sector
