The Role An opportunity has arisen for a Quantity Surveyor to join the commercial team on a long-term water and utilities framework, based from their Brighton offices. This position will see you supporting a portfolio of civils and utilities projects, ensuring sound commercial management and providing financial guidance throughout the project lifecycle. Responsibilities * Take ownership of commercial duties across allocated projects. * Prepare and submit applications for payment, variations, and final accounts. * Administer subcontract accounts, including procurement, payments, and change control. * Support the delivery team with accurate cost forecasting, CVRs, and monthly reporting. * Ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions, primarily under NEC. * Maintain and develop positive relationships with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders. * Identify commercial risks and opportunities and provide proactive solutions. Candidate Requirements * Previous experience in a Quantity Surveying role within the civil engineering, utilities, or infrastructure sectors. * Strong working knowledge of NEC forms of contract. * Demonstrable commercial and financial acumen, with a strong eye for detail. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently across all levels. * Highly organised, able to manage workload across multiple live projects. * A degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or related discipline is advantageous.
