The role includes general classroom support as well as one-to-one assistance for pupils, ideally with experience in Additional Learning Needs (ALN). Key Attributes of the Ideal Teaching Assistant
First aid experience and relevant qualifications are highly desirable.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience supporting pupils with Additional Learning Needs (ALN).
Level 3 NVQ or CACHE qualification or above (preferred but not essential).
Familiarity with ELSA or Thrive programmes (preferred but not essential).
A caring, empathetic, and patient approach.
