Your key duties as Assistant Client Accountant will be…
Assist with the production of Management Accounts.
Bank Reconciliations
* Post nominal receipts and payments
* Reconcile to bank statements
* Review and approve purchase ledger invoice codes
* Review and approve purchase ledger payments
* Raise invoice requests for approval and raise Sales Invoices
* Reconcile Intercompany ledgers and arrange transfers
Service Charge / Utilities / Rates
* Data entry and producing schedules for recharges
VAT Returns
Assist in the production of quarterly VAT returns and nominal reconciliation
Assist Client Management Accountant
* Analysis of profit and loss accounts
* Assist in the reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
* Assist in the production of management accounts
* Ad hoc tasks

Personal requirements
* Minimum 3 Years experience in similar Accounting roles
* Advanced Excel Skills
* Methodical approach to work
* Be able to work under own initiative in a pressured environment, sticking to strict deadlines
* Good communication skills Preferred Accounts experience working in the construction industry
