Pay:
1. £24 per hour (CIS) - Temporary Period
2. £38,000 per annum - Permanent Salary
3. Overtime available
We are currently recruiting for a skilled and reliable Multi Trade Plumber to join a leading housing provider delivering responsive repairs and maintenance across social housing properties in Oxford and Reading.
This is a temp-to-perm opportunity offering long-term stability, consistent work, and the opportunity to increase earnings through overtime.
Key Responsibilities:
4. Carrying out reactive plumbing repairs and planned maintenance in occupied and void properties
5. Installing and repairing plumbing systems, fixing leaks, replacing taps, toilets, showers, and pipework
6. Completing associated multi-trade duties including basic carpentry, tiling, patch plastering, and minor repairs
7. Diagnosing faults and resolving maintenance issues efficiently
8. Ensuring all works are completed in line with health and safety regulations
9. Using a PDA device to receive job instructions, update progress, and maintain accurate job records
Requirements:
10. Full UK Driving Licence (manual)
11. Basic DBS check (Disclosure and Barring Service)
12. Proven experience working within social housing or property maintenance
13. NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in Plumbing preferred
14. Strong multi-trade capability and ability to work independently
