As an HSSU Coordinator, you will combine basic computer skills with strong organisational abilities. Your responsibilities include processing used surgical instruments for dispatch, receiving sterile surgical equipment, and supporting our theatre team to ensure smooth operations.
* Move and handle trays and items of various weights and sizes
* Maintain accurate records and keep documentation up to date
* Dispose of contaminated waste following hospital policy
* Regularly check that equipment is in good working order and report faults
* Maintain a clean and tidy working environment
* Take action to resolve issues and escalate where necessary
